Friends of the Hamilton Public Library 2018 Children's Bookmark Contest Deadline

Children in K – 5th grade may create an original bookmark on an official form.

This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock!"

Use markers, crayons, pencils or pens.  (Note:  Gel pens do not photocopy well.)

Judging will be based on creativity, originality, neatness, and use of the bookmark theme.

Limit one entry per child, please.

Judging will take place March 19, 2018.

Winners will receive a grade appropriate book prize and be recognized in a newspaper article.

The Friends of the Hamilton Public Library will host a signing party for the winners. The winning designs will be reproduced and sold at the Hamilton Public Library.

Deadline for submission:  March 9, 2018

All entries become the property of the FOL.

Winners will be contacted to obtain parental consent for publication.

Mrs. Keoughan’s HISD art students will be entered through their art classes.

*Entries must not use branded characters from commercial sources due to copyright laws.  For example: no cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse.
