Texas Bluebonnet 2023-2024
The Texas Bluebonnet Award Program is a state-wide program that encourages reading for pleasure for students in grades 3-6. Each year 20 recommended picture, chapter, and non-fiction books are chosen by a Texas Library Association Committee.
Students are encouraged to read a minimum of five books from the list and then vote for their favorite title in January. The author of the book receiving the most votes wins the Texas Bluebonnet Award (TBA).
