- Create an original bookmark on an official form (available at the library).
- Use markers, crayons, pencils or pens. (Note: Gel pens do not photocopy well.)
- Judging will be based on creativity, originality, neatness, and use of the bookmark theme.
- Limit one entry per child, please.
Judging will take place on March 10, 2014. Winners will receive a grade appropriate book prize and be recognized in a newspaper article.
The Friends of the Hamilton Public Library will host a signing party for the winners. The winning designs will be reproduced and sold at Hamilton Public Library.
All entries will become the property of the FOTL. Winners will be contacted to obtain parental consent for publication.
Mrs. Keoughan's HISD art students will be entered through their art classes.
