TAME Trailblazer Visit

  • When Jul 28, 2016 from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM (US/Central / UTC-500)
  • Add event to calendar iCal

The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering will bring its Trailblazer, a 40-foot mobile science exhibit, to the Hamilton Public Library on July 28 and invites kids of all ages to come experience the hands-on exhibits and experiments. The Trailblazer is the only hands-on science and engineering museum-on-wheels in Texas. Exciting, hands-on exhibits teach children about energy, space, weather, biotechnology, and aerodynamics while also introducing them to educational and career opportunities in STEM. The Trailblazer will open at 9:00 am on Thursday, July 28 on the South side of the library. Groups of up to 20 at a time will be able to tour and participate in the hands-on experiments, which should take about 30 minutes to complete. HPL will also have hands-on science demonstrations and experiments inside the library all day. Anyone is welcome to come by between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Those with large groups should call HPL at 254-386-3474 to schedule times.
